As 2021 is ending, we have a lot to reflect on. Celebrating 98 years in business, we want to pay tribute to some of the people and moments that made this year memorable.
First, we want to salute our team. Our experienced staff of sales, operations, moving coordinators and drivers are the main reasons that we are so successful at meeting our customers’ needs. Many of our employees have been with us long term. Some have been here 25-30 years!
As a transportation company, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to continue to work every day. We implemented many safety protocols to keep our teams and customers safe. Many of these protocols are still in place. Each move is unique, and each customer has their own circumstances and requirements, and we’re happy to meet them.
Our company has a rich legacy. Not only have we been in business for almost a century, but we have been a family-owned and operated business for the past 37 years. Being able to operate at the level that we do, while still maintaining a close-knit family atmosphere, is something we are very proud of. Our President, Mark Duke, took over the business from his parents. His son Cody is now poised to continue that legacy and carry the business into the third generation. Mark is delighted that Apex Moving + Storage will continue the family tradition of serving our community.
This year, we were honored to win the coveted Milton M. Hill Quality Award from Atlas Van Lines. This was our 4th time winning the award since 2009! This recognition means so much to us. This prestigious award is given for outstanding performance ratings in customer satisfaction, estimating, claims, safety and warehouse operations. Only a few Atlas agents are bestowed this honor (out of hundreds) each year. This award is the ultimate mark of distinction.
As 2021 comes to a close, we wish you the best during the holiday season.
“Merry Christmas to all of our team members and their families, and our customers and their families. We hope you have a very happy, merry and safe holiday season.” - Mark Duke, President, Apex Moving + Storage.
